Aside from that, you are a young adventurer that has heard word of a reward. You're excited, but here come the choices.

Be prepared to pick your poison.

I really like how the end of the journey does not necessarily mean "Treasure found/enemy defeated" or "Your dead", and it can end in other ways such as the adventurer being fulfilled by being accepted into a new family.  The only improvement I can think of for this kind of game would be to add more visuals and sounds, but I think sometimes just the black background with the contrasting red and blue options has a nice effect in its own right!

This game is quite simple in its structure but you managed to pack in a lot through the different choices you placed. I appreciate how most of the correct choices are based around morality or just survival instincts and you provided plenty of endings for many of the choices. For some suggestions, I would personally not have the screen tell me to press 1 or 2 during the first choice as I feel the colors are enough of an indicator for me. Likewise, I would suggest using the format you used for the final choice on all of the choices as it would make it easier for players to select, even if you did write it down on the instructions section of the game. Pictures might also be neat to make the game stand out.

First thing I have to say, I love the narrator, it feels like they're commenting on your choices in real time. I also like how the different choices eventually led to the same cave, I assumed I could only get there if I chose to walk. I love the idea that while the choices branch off, they eventually come back.

I love how you really can't tell if any option is good or bad initially, keeps you on your toes for sure. My favorite ending was the old lady ending that you get simply from relying on the kindness of strangers, even though doing that at the hostel gives you a bad ending.

I really like the adventure game feel! I'm interested to see what kinds of backgrounds and sound effects you could incorporate as well. It seems like a really good foundation for a story so far and I really enjoyed the mystery of each decision!

Sigh... it's always the shoes. An interesting adventure game with a bit of snark! I think music would've elevated the experience, but maybe it did have music and it just didn't play for me?

Really cool choose-your-own adventure game, I especially like how you use colors to indicate choices, to a point where it feels very intuitive to press 1 or 2. I also like how the treasure in the cave actually changes depending on the kind of personality you decide to use, which gives the moment a sort of magical/mystical aspect to it.
